Sergio Soriano Puerta

Jomelette is the graphic design work of Sergio Soriano Puerta. Originally from Logroño, Spain. Sergio studied at Huesca School of Art where he started to appreciate the typography thanks to Macu Vicente. He completed his graphic design studies at ESDIR Superior School of Design in La Rioja, graduating in 2010.

At the same time that he was studing he had the opportunity to combine his studies working as a graphic designer with different design agencies. He worked in Calcco Comunication Visual and K-sis Global Solutions. Then, in 2007 he started to work for Sidecar, where he learned all technical and formal aspects of graphic design thanks to its art director Paco Valverde, experiencing the ability to see a project through from beginning to end.

With more than 7 years of work experience he has won several design competitions and he has received awards such as the LAUS when being a student designer.

Sergio has participated in diferent workshops with some of the most influential designers on the Spanish scene like Laura Masseger, Isidro Ferrer, Marta Cerdá, SerialCut and Brosmind.

He is energetic with an optimistic attitude which enables him to bring to the table a strong sense of personal style and an eye for detail. He loves all aspects of graphic design, especially typography, packaging and identity.
